Sand Yachts

The images in this set were taken at Cefn Sidan beach in August 2011. A large group of enthusiasts regularly visit the west end of the beach which is about 7 miles long to practice and improve on their skills, some of them for national and international racing events. This sport relies entirely on wind power and the skill of the driver in choosing the correct 'kite' for the conditions and their skill at manipulating it.
